In her words

Artist statement

«My work reflects a personal perception of the world — the impressions left by everyday moments. I find inspiration in the ordinary: the states of nature, animals, the magic of a sunbeam falling across a parquet floor, the flicker of lace-like shadows on a wall. Painting helps me understand myself and the world around me, to reach deep feelings and pass them on to the viewer.

I set no limits on the choice of materials, but I work mainly with oil paints.

In my works I explore the memory of something personal, nostalgia, a person’s inner state. In my paintings I capture experiences that are hard to put into words: the quiet after an event, the emotional bond between a person and a place, the shifting sense of comfort. Every minute of life is unique — and it is this singularity that becomes the ground of my artistic search.»
